This course aims to engender new creative thinking and the establishment of an inclusive genre of visual arts that is concerned with translating ideas into objects and learning through making and reflection. It covers contents which include: introduction to action research, practical studio unit 1, practical studio unit 2, histories and theories of contemporary art and synthesis and exhibition unit. On completion of course, participants can progress to academic arena by undertaking a practical PhD, or compliment their MA with a PGCE.
Participants should have an Honours degree in an art and design subject or its equivalent.
