This course is aimed at art and design teachers and artist educators who wish to re-awaken their creative practice through critical engagement with their own arts discipline. It covers contents which include: rethinking our practice, introduction to action research, developing contemporary practice, networks and contacts, histories and theories of contemporary art, defining contemporary art and applying contemporary art.
Participants should have an Honours degree in an art and design subject or its equivalent, and a teaching qualification or experience of working in the education sector.
