Professional Courses in Counselling & Psychotherapy

The London School of Counselling & Psychotherapy is dedicated to high quality professional training and is actively involved in counselling and psychotherapy research.

The London School of Counselling & Psychotherapy welcomes applications from people who are exploring an interest in counselling or psychotherapy or who have had some experience in counselling and/or are using counselling skills in their place of work and wish to train further. The course contact hours and content may be counted towards the training part of BACP Accreditation. LSCP supports trainees wishing to prepare for BACP Individual Accreditation or wishing to pursue further studies in Counselling or Psychotherapy.

All our classes take place in the evening between 18.00 – 21.00

The programme covers the theoretical elements required by the BACP for accreditation, and part of the required 450 hours of supervised work with clients. Students who have completed both requirements will be eligible to apply for BACP accreditation. The London School of Counselling & Psychotherapy will guide and support students during this process.

We offer individual and group supervision

In co-operation with the Tithe Barn Counselling Service our trainee counsellors may see clients under supervision. This service is free. The service is supervised by an external consultant.

Our tutors subscribe to the BACP Code of Ethics. Students are expected to adhere to the BACP's Ethical guidelines for their professional work.

The London School of Counselling & Psychotherapy is a member of The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and The European Association for Counselling, and is bound by their Codes of Ethics and Practice and Complaints Procedure.
