The London School of Beauty and Make-up is a large private school in Central London which offers an educational programme covering full-time, part-time and evening courses. Established in 1994, the London School of Beauty and Make-Up has built our reputation by offering beauty therapy and make-up training to the highest standards and by offering skills which are in line with industry requirements. All of our courses provide recognised International qualifications so they are ideal for those wishing to work overseas, or for international students studying here.

By keeping classes small, London School of Beauty and Make-Up is able to offer students more individual attention, which enables them to complete the course to a high standard and in a far shorter time than at other colleges.

What's on offer

The London School of Beauty and Make-Up offers courses which are both ideal for beginners with no previous experience and also those suitable for qualified therapists who wish to add to their basic skills.

Make-up courses take place within a studio environment. Students can choose from various foundation courses, through to creative high fashion and catwalk, including stage theatre and video make-up.

Many of the school's students go on to create careers for themselves, benefiting from the advantage of work experience whilst still at school. Former students have either gone on to work for leading cosmetic houses or become successful business owners, while others have become session make-up artists, in either the film and television world or the fashion business. Those who have become freelance beauty therapists have been grateful for the guidance and business skills they acquired while at The London School of Beauty & Make-up.

We aim to welcome people from as many backgrounds as possible. Advice on course selection is always available from the Enrolments Team and students are given support for as long as they require, even if they have left the school.

All our tutors are familiar with industry requirements because they all have at least five years hands-on experience as therapists as well as teaching. The health and beauty industry is one of growth - never before have there been so many career opportunities, including health clubs, and beauty salons. Students will be given career advice at the interview stage and we have many useful contacts for the start of a student's new career.
