Lifetime recently launched its unique + following the nationwide roll out of its successful Fitness Instructor Apprenticeship. Each programme allows individuals to receive a recognised qualification, making them job ready by the time it’s completed. Plus, it is government funded so won’t cost the apprentices a penny.

The majority of enthusiastic individuals will then have the opportunity to earn money whilst completing a full NVQ during employment, paid work experience or through voluntary work in approximately 12 weeks. This means young people could quickly put all of their newly gained experience into kick starting a successful career in the growing leisure industry.

For those who don’t meet the criteria for government funded training or who don’t have the time to retrain full time, Lifetime offers a wide range of self funded flexible distance learning courses. Students can study anywhere at anytime thanks to its interactive CD-Rom and workbooks – ideal for those wanting to study alongside with their current career.
