If you are just starting out you will enjoy the regular demonstrations. However if you have some experience in Life Drawing you can develop your own style and techniques in a supported atmosphere. How Derek Batty teaches Each class has a broad theme exploring some aspect of drawing the figure. This is outlined in the weekly class handout and supported by individual tuition. There are five demonstrations each term showing basic drawing approaches. regular topics include line, shading methods, artistic anatomy, portraiture and foreshortening. What Derek Batty teaches All aspects of drawing, especially drawing the human figure.
