LC&CTA is a dynamic counselling skills and counsellor training association based at Lewisham College. Founded by Chris Brown and Juanita Harriot in 2007, the organisation evolved out of the counsellor training department at the College and now runs independently of it. We are dedicated to equality and inclusion in the counselling profession and believe in learning through relational and existential experience. We have grown rapidly and are moving to new custom-designed premises in Deptford in September 2009.

LC&CTA is an organisational member of the BACP and is both a City & Guilds and CPCAB approved Training Centre.

What's on offer
We offer a wide range of counselling, intrapersonal and inter-personal courses designed to assist the ongoing development of all those engaged in or interested in the helping professions. Our courses and one-day workshops are highly affordable and inclusive, many carrying nationally recognised qualifications.

Lewisham College's back-up services are available to LC&CTA students, including a comprehensive Learning Centre, access to IT, graphics and media hire and subsidised canteens. LC&CTA also offers full learning support to its students.
