This course intended to help participants guide their organisation towards a strategy that will improve its overall environmental performance and comply with recent environmental legislation. It takes them through the first steps in introducing an environmental management system into their organisation. In order to accomplish this, they will explore in detail both local and global environmental issues, and how their company can reduce its contribution to these problems. They will learn to identify those activities, products and services that can have an impact on the environment, evaluate the significance of those impacts, conduct an environmental review and to write a report of their findings. On successful completion participants will also gain a College Diploma in Environmental Aspects and Impacts.
