This course covers a range of advanced designs such as bridal and sympathy work. They will learn about the marketing and retail skills needed to be a successful florist and gain an insight into the correct use of corporate image. It covers contents that include: the creative design process for florists, diverse flower and plant care, plan, assemble and evaluate diverse tied floristry designs, plan, assemble and evaluate diverse floral designs for weddings, plan, assemble and evaluate diverse floral designs, plan, assemble and evaluate diverse funeral designs, negotiate and agree terms and conditions for the sale of floristry products and services, function and event decoration using floral displays and functional skills.
Participants should have BTEC National Award or National Certificate in Floristry at Merit level or above, NVQ Level 2 in Floristry, NPTC National Certificate in Floristry at Merit or above or Diploma in Floristry Level 2.
