Description Our online Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce is a new qualification. The Diploma CYPW replaces existing childcare qualifications including NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (CCLD) and the Diploma in Home-based Childcare (DHC). Similar to the NVQ in CCLD, this new children and young people’s qualification is work-based and recognises good practice by assessing skills, knowledge and understanding of childcare practitioners. Course Content We have organised the course in 3 building blocks for you to complete at your own paced learning. To gain the full qualification worth 65 credits, all units within the building blocks will need to be completed. Online Delivery The course is delivered as an 1-2-1 personalised online home study course so you can work through the course independently at your own pace while receiving regular individualised support from your tutor. Your personal tutor will work closely with you by providing 1-2-1 regular tutorials by telephone and email. Duration The full diploma can be completed in 9 months to 18 months 650 learning hours including time spent in your setting
