Purpose This qualification is designed for people who wish to develop and understand the principles and practice of counselling in relation to a range of settings. Counselling skills are useful in a variety of job roles and can enhance the quality of life of the person that you are providing a service to What will I learn? You will be required to complete 7-8 Units to receive the full qualification. These Units include Understanding Counselling Skills theory at Level 2 & 3, Developing Own Interpersonal Skills, Understanding Mental Health, Understanding Family Relationships, Understanding stress and stress management techniques and many more How will I be assessed? All learners are supported to complete a Learner Portfolio. We provide learners with portfolio’s that contain all of the learning material you will need to complete the course. Am I Eligible to apply? You do not need previous qualifications to apply for this course but will need to attend an initial interview to discuss your learning needs. You will also need to demonstrate your proficiency in basic English literacy and numeracy Where and when does the course take place? You can complete this course online or as a distance learning programme or attend our weekly class in Battersea SW11 Once per week on a Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. We also fortnightly tutorials for our students either online or face to face.
