In this course, students will study introduction to the hospitality industry commodities, health and safety and food safety (CIEH level 2 certificate), healthier foods and special diets, kitchen organisation, applying workplace skills (Edexcel level 1). After successful completion of the course they may progress to further study, such as BTEC level 3 diploma in hospitality supervision.
Students must Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Professional Cookery or equivalent qualification.
