The Level 2 Certificate in Youth Work Practice has been developed and designed to ensure that people who are working or wish to work in youth work settings have access to the necessary training and qualifications to work as assistant youth support workers and be able to progress onto further qualifications to work as youth support workers.Please note: we still have some places available for the course that is currently running. Learners must either be working with young people (13-19 and 19+ or have a substantial placement in a youth work setting, as a considerable amount of assessment is assessed through performance in the workplace.Learners must have been Criminal Records Bureau checked (and found satisfactory) before embarking on the qualification units.
