Purpose This qualification is designed for people who currently care for a mental health service user in the community in either a professional capacity or as a carer. What will I learn? In order to achieve this qualification you will need to complete 7-8 mandatory and optional Units. The Units include Develop independent living skills in the community, Understanding rights and responsibilities of citizens, Developing personal confidence and self awareness, Understanding disability society and the law and many more How will I be assessed? All learners are supported to complete a Learner Portfolio. We provide learners with portfolio’s that contain all of the learning material you will need to complete the course. Am I Eligible to apply? You do not need previous qualifications to apply for this course but will need to attend an initial interview to discuss your learning needs. Where and when does the course take place? You can complete this course online or as a distance learning programme or attend our weekly class in Battersea SW11 Once per week on a Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. How much does it cost? We charge £95 per Unit and in order to complete this course you will need to complete 7-8 Units
Basic proficiency in English literacy and numeracy. Relevant personal or professional experience (will be determined at application stage)
