Plasterers work on projects ranging from house extensions to city centre commercial development, from new build schemes to renovation projects. Work may range from replastering a kitchen in a house to rendering a commercial building.
This course aims to provide a basic knowledge of plastering and develop the hand skills required for this craft area.
It is an ideal course for those who are looking to learn on a full-time basis and have identified that they want to enter the construction industry as a plasterer.
Acceptance on to this course is subject to suitable references from school or previous college/employment and a successful interview. In addition BKSB assessment scores are to be achieved at a minimum grade of Working at Entry Level 3 in both literacy and numeracy.
