This course covers practical units that include: food preparation and cooking, servicing food and drink, serving customers and dealing with payments. Students will develop their skills in the commercial kitchens and the restaurant and bistro. After the completion of this course students may progress to Food Preparation and Service Diploma at Level 2.
Students should have a range of GCSEs at E-G including English and preferably Maths or equivalent or an Entry Level course with good evidence of ability to achieve at a higher level.
