This full time course is designed for young people who wish to learn about the digital applications in order to support their employment or study. After one year students who wish to progress further in IT can move onto the BTEC Level 2 first Diploma in IT or other vocational courses. The units covered are 'Using ICT' where students learn skills needed to design and produce publications for print and screen.'Multilmedia' where students learn to combine sound, image, text and moving image to create multimedia products. Graphics and 'Games Authoring wheres students learn what makes games successful and how to plan, design and create games for others.
