About this course

This Level 1 Award explores themes of citizenship and equal opportunities. The award is aimed at people who are interested in their community and may want to work in the voluntary and community sector. It will explore ideas about human rights and responsibilities, equality and awareness of how local politics shapes the world in which we live. It is a useful course if you are considering applying for one of the Institute of Leadership & Management Awards.

It starts from a very basic level, so there is time to bring everyone up to a basic level in Word processing basic maths etc, but they are flexible like letting someone who was excellent on the computer complete all the assessments in 2 les...more
