This course provides a practical avenue for students to research a particular area of law that interests learners and, using various methodologies and analytical skills, produce an extended piece of writing; students first concentrate on the development of skills in advanced legal research and the use of theory to support it; students then move on to construct and produce own research piece within the choice of legal interest, demonstrating all the skills students have learnt.
Modules include: legal research theory and methodology; dissertation.
