During the course students develop intellectual tools and techniques to help them inquire into their professional practice within the wider context of their organisation; it also enhances their understanding of the inter-disciplinary knowledge and practices that are relevant to their work role; students develop the capability to use technology effectively and critically evaluate its use in their work; additionally students learn to plan, implement and evaluate change strategies for their workplace and develop high-level communication and persuasion skills that are used to present and support these changes; students examine the history, current practices and possible future developments in the field of learning technology; students learn to apply research and rigour in approaching problems and opportunities in the workplace.
