The course looks at the skills and knowledge people have and need to perform their job role effectively; the levels assigned to the SVQs relate to the responsibilities of a person�s actual job; SVQs in learning and development are suited to participants who train and develop others and who want to gain a work based qualification; the course is offered at levels 3 and 4; at Level 3 there are 2 qualifications: Learning and development; direct training and support; at level 4 there are 3 qualifications: Learning and development; management of learning and development provision and co-ordination of learning and development provision.
