This qualification is designed for experienced trainer who wish to gain a nationally recognised qualification or for those new to training wishing to broaden their experience and knowledge. It covers the following 7 mandatory units: evaluate and develop own practice, identify individual learning aims and programmes, agree learning programmes with learners, develop training sessions, create a climate that promotes learning, monitor and review progress with learners, respond to changes in learning and development plus two options from: enable learning through presentations, enable learning through demonstrations and instruction, enable individual learning through coaching plus two units from: design learning programmes, prepare and develop resources to support learning, assess students using a range of methods, assess students performance through observation.
