Topics covered on this course include: leadership and management; mentoring and coaching; learning through enquiry using ICT; equality, diversity and inclusion issues; developing subject and professional knowledge; child development in family and society; developing young children as creative learners; supporting NQT's professional development; leadership and partnership in an integrated context; supporting professional and work-related learning; after study of 2 of the above modules, students move on to develop their learning through a module focusing on institutional improvement, before selecting 2 additional modules; the final module is a practice-based research project.
