This course is suitable for participants who are interested in the English Legal System and how it works today. It is particularly useful if they are planning future employment in a legal environment. The units include The English legal system, Police powers and procedures, Criminal law, etc. On successful completion they can progress to AS Law, or they can progress onto the Level 3 Applied Law BTEC Subsidiary Diploma course.
Participants need a range of GCSEs at grades C-D including English at grade C.
