The course enables students to develop knowledge and skills in relation to the law, economics and finance governing international business and finance both in the UK, Europe and at a global level; as well as exploring contemporary issues in financial law and finance and their impact on international business, students acquire interdisciplinary expertise and develop the techniques required to conduct research in these extremely important, topical and cutting edge areas.
Compulsory modules: Corporate law; international law of credit and security; research methods (for law); accounting for managers; corporate finance; corporate governance; dissertation in either law or business; optional modules: advanced corporate law; international banking (capital markets and loans); insolvency law; financial reporting and regulation; information and organisation design; forensic accounting and finance.
