You will examine how the English legal system works including the role of solicitors, barristers and the courts of law. You will also look law in action, studying tort, criminal and family law, alongside learning about an individual’s rights and responsibilities. The course has 2 exams at the end of the year. Please note additional GCSE courses will run subject to popularity and class numbers.
Few people have studied law previously, therefore there are no additional entry requirements. However a grade D or above in English language would be desirable.
