This course allows students to specialise in areas in which they are going to practice; there is a corporate or non-corporate stream (broad based, commercial or the public legal services), whichever pathway students take they are able to choose from a range of LPC electives.
Core modules: business law and practice (business accounts, property law and practice), and litigation (civil and criminal); conduct and regulation (including solicitors� accounts); wills and tax; legal skills (research, writing, drafting, advocacy, interviewing and advising); plus elective modules from: advanced commercial litigation and dispute resolution; advanced commercial property; advanced criminal practice; commercial law; debt finance and banking; employment law; family and child protection law; personal injury and clinical negligence litigation; private acquisitions; private client; public companies and equity finance; social welfare law.
