Course Description
This course is intended for anyone who wishes to develop their skills and knowledge of the Law. It is a suitable introduction to a Law degree or future legal career. AS Level Law involves the study of the English Legal System in two units: The Machinery of Justice/Legal Personnel and the Sources of Law. A2 Level Law is based on the law of contract. The student learns how to problem solve and advise parties on a contracted dispute.
Assessment method
Assessment is through two external modular examinations for AS and two more for A2. There is no coursework.
Entry Requirements
Candidates will need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English Language.
