The course covers the seven prescribed foundation subjects plus an additional area of legal study; students are required to undertake a period of directed reading and study before joining the course
Candidates study five modules covering the foundation topics: obligations: covering contract, tort and restitution; Public/EU; The Law of Property and Equity; and Crime and Society. Students will also study an area of law outside of these topics in the Legal Research module and be required to research and write a supervised dissertation relating to that area over the course of the year.
