Students will study the English legal system, including courts, police powers and sentencing, as well as sources of law and they can choose to specialize in tort or criminal law. On successful completion they can aspire to careers as solicitors or barristers, within the police force or in legal sections of the Armed Forces. The units include The English Legal System, Sources of Law, Crime 1 or Tort 1, etc.
Students should be aged between 16-19 years. They need GCSE grade C or above in English.
