This course will give partiicpants a thorough understanding of how law is created, administered and changed. They will learn how to analyse problem situations and apply the appropriate substantive legal rules and principles. They will gain the ability to evaluate critically the appropriateness and effectiveness of particular legal rules, institutions and procedures together with an appreciation of the effects of the law and the legal system on the individual and society.
Participants must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above in English and Maths.
