Course Description
Trees perform a vital function in nature, and as components of the landscape can also provide backbone planting, fruitful harvests and shade in gardens. Using living plant material from Ness and spending time in the Garden, we will examine the role that trees have played in the development of the garden landscape, and study the various characters that enable identification of both British native and exotic species.
