There will be a core of Communications, ICT and Numeracy with options such as Business Enterprise, Catering or Horticulture. There may also be an opportunity to take part in independent travel training and to participate in a work placement. Internal work experience activities, such as the LLDD stationery shop, a lunch service and horticulture sales provide a basis for the development of life and work skills within the supported environment of the College. The course is accredited by the ASDAN Diploma in Personal Progress and EdExcel's Awards for Independent Living and Supported Employment.
Students will be operating at Milestones 6-8 and will show a willingness to participate in all aspects of the course including travel training and work skills.
