This level 3 qualification is an advanced national vocation qualification which focuses on the development of the underlying principles and practical skills required in the hairdressing industry. It is designed to deliver a high level of occupational capability. This course is very practical and will involve you working in a salon as well as attending college. The subjects taught are: Monitor procedures to safely control work operations, Provide hairdressing consultation services, Creatively cut hair using a combination of techniques, Promote additional services or products to customers and Health and Safety.
You will need one of the following qualifications: A Level 2 Hairdressing qualification, Industrial Experience at Stylist Level. A high standard of personal grooming is required with correct uniform, neat and tidy Hair and short nails.

we are now eight weeks into this course and the college have failed to provide a teacher for the 4 hour practicals so a lab technician with pigeon english is taking it instead.but that is only part of our problems....more

The computers do not have enough software installed for us to complete certain aspects of our course. The teachers are fine . This college has given me great satisfaction overal all...more
