The Kensington College of Business (KCB) acts as a London centre for several leading British universities (the University of Wales, the University of London), as well as preparing students for the leading professional qualifications.
The College has been established since 1982 and although it has grown in size dramatically, it retains a personal service and friendly ethos. At universities, lecture group sizes often exceed 100 in which students cannot receive personal attention. At KCB, group sizes are deliberately kept small to ensure the lecturers and administration know all their students on an individual basis. Hence, we are able to offer support in both academic and welfare matters.
What's on offer
The College delivers foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programmes in business, IT/computing and law.
KCB offers two pathways for students: Firstly, the academic route in which a student is awarded a degree, a BA or LLB at undergraduate level; and an MSc or MBA at postgraduate level. Secondly, the professional route offers certificates or diplomas from IBD, ABE, CIM and ICSA.
The University Foundation Course (UFC) takes only nine months to complete and gives entry to a UK university. This replaces the need for a two-year A-level programme. The UFC course provides a bridge for students between high school and university and is designed to give successful KCB students, entry to the first year of degrees in a range of UK universities.
