In the last 4 years 20 international students have gone to Oxford or Cambridge and 20 to Imperial College.

In 2002-3, the Queen's Anniversary Prize, one of the top prizes in education, for its work in science, presented to the Principal by the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
In 2002-3, the British Council award for International Student Support, awarded annually to the institution judged to be the best at looking after its international students in every way, both academically and pastorally
In 2005, finalist in the prestigious Rolls Royce science competition.
Twice awarded Beacon College status by the UK government because of its excellent inspection reports

ACCOMMODATION

Homestay [£85 per week]
All host families are police checked and regularly visited and contacted.

LOCATION

Scunthorpe is a small town of 70,000 in the East of the UK in the beautiful county of Lincolnshire.
Quieter, safer and cheaper to live in than many of the larger cities in the UK.
Manchester is the nearest international airport with a direct rail link. [1½ hours]
Taxi service to meet all international students individually at any airport.

TUITION FEES

£5,100 per year for 2008, including extra medical insurance and all exam fees [including IELTS] and all non–academic courses. No hidden extras.
