This course is an introduction to the techniques and processes used in the production silver jewellery. You will be introduced to technical processes in the workshop and to the use of hand tools to shape silver. You will learn various metal working processes such as cutting, soldering, shaping, texturing and polishing silver and all the basic techniques you need to design and make your own unique piece of jewellery. The course is suitable for all levels. Beginners are welcome as are makers and designers who would like to build on existing skills. You will make simple pieces of silver jewellery such as rings, earrings and necklaces to your own designs. You can make a piece for yourself or as a present for family or friends. You can also buy a gift voucher for a Saturday course as a birthday or Christmas present or even for Mothers Day. You will be able to take home at least one piece of jewellery from a two day course, it all depends how hard you work!
