This short full-time programme enables young people to gain an Edexcel Level 1 Award in Home Cooking Skills based on Jamie Oliver’s Cooking Skills. Students learn how to cook food and learn about safety and hygiene whilst working on a team project and receiving additional support in English and Maths. Course content: Cooking Skills Food Safety in Catering Budgeting Team Project Functional Skills – English Maths ICT After this course: Progression to a higher level course within the College or a higher level course in cooking or catering.
No formal entry requirements but you may be required to complete the initial College assessment.
