The PGCert stage focuses on the study of Islamic sources and the life of the Prophet Muhammad, together with an additional module to attain 60 credit points; for the PGDip stage, students study a choice of modules to attain 120 credits; the Master's requires research into a specialist area of the student's choice and submission of a dissertation of between 15,000 and 18,000 words.
