This course is designed to give students and insight into the hair and beauty sector and allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required. It covers units that include: introduction to the hair and beauty sector; presenting a professional Image in a salon, shampoo and conditioning, hair plaiting, colour in the hair and beauty sector, skin care, hand care, styling womens hair, styling men's hair, plaiting and twisting hair, applying basic make-up, themed Face Painting and nail art
Students should have a minimum 3 GCSEs at grade E-F including Maths and English.
