For those who are considering gardening as a full or part time job. Topics covered include: i) Technical Skills (Plants, Lawns & Ponds). ii) Financial Planning. iii) Marketing. iv) Business Accounting. v) Vehicles, Tools & Clothing. vi) Health & Safety. vii)Time Management and Tips & Techniques. These subjects will enable you to identify whether Gardening can provide a viable income or should be considered a lifestyle choice. The vocational course costs £250. It contains all relevant materials for you to learn at your own pace via the internet plus visits to corresponding gardens. A week long residential course costing £350, ex accomodation, is also avaialble subject to demmand. Please identify your prefference when enquiring.
Basic written English, Mathematics and a keen interest in Gardening. Some experience of maintaining a garden is an advantage but not essential.
