The course aims to provide an opportunity for in-depth study of the substantive and procedural issues involved in the field; and being centrally concerned with law and other rules of international and commercial conduct (in the context of prevention and resolution of conflicts and disputes); including the relevance of: democracy; regulation and governance.
Dissertation in law; perspectives on conflicts and disputes; research theory and practice Option modules include: commercial conflict of laws (private international law); comparative law; conflict resolution: negotiation; European Union competition law; international commercial arbitration; international commercial mediation; international corporate law and governance; international economic law; international tax law; multinational corporate entities; negotiation: theory, context and practice (subject to approval); peaceful settlement of international disputes; public international law; reparation in international law.
