This course addresses academic elements of the travel industry alongside management studies, thus ensuring graduates are equipped with both the knowledge and the skills required to be successful in this dynamic and competitive sector.
Year 1: Focuses on the organisational structure and operations of the travel industry and introduces students to the principles of management. Year 2: examines management development and includes specialist modules in international transportation as well as business travel. Final year: centres upon critical issues faced by the international travel industry with a focus on strategic planning; a wide range of options are offered in the final year enabling students to focus on their particular area of interest.
