Course Description
The programme is structured around a series of taught modules, followed by an individual project, which allows students to carry out an in-depth study into an area of interest, under supervision by a member of the academic staff. The taught modules are: International Trade and Logistics; Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Maritime Transport Systems; Maritime Information Technology; Maritime Law. In addition, students will undertake the Research and Communication Skills module, which will allow them to develop proficiency in research methods and construct a programme of work for their project.

Entry Requirements
An honours degree or equivalent in Maritime, Transport, Logistics, Business, Management or related studies. Other awards or international qualifications or experience considered by the course team to be of similar academic level to the above. Applicants with an unclassified and significant relevant industrial experience may be considered. Non-UK applicants must provide evidence of competence in English. The level of English language required should be equivalent to 6.0 for IELTS within the previous 24 months. Applicants who have studied and successfully achieved a UK Degree within the previous 24 months are exempt from the requirements to produce evidence of competence in English.
