About this course

This combined course gives the opportunity to specialise in two disciplines, providing students with a greater career choice. The programme emphasises global and multicultural understanding of a complex world through close study of political, economic, legal and cultural forces. The programme aims to provide students with a deeper knowledge and theoretical understanding of International Relations. It seeks to acquaint them with the current debates in the field and their relationship to contemporary problems of world politics. It also aims to strengthen their ability for critical analysis of International Relations and Diplomatic issues. It offers a further opportunity for specialisation in aspects of international diplomacy, strategic studies and international organisations. A range of assessment methods is used including coursework, projects and presentations.
