This course gives students the specialist scientific knowledge and practical skills to take an active role in international public health nutrition in a range of different settings; training in statistics, epidemiology, research methods, nutritional assessment and programme design enhances professional skills and competencies, employability and development as a public health professional.
Core modules: concepts and principles of nutrition; health and nutrition: policies and promotion; methods of nutritional assessment; nutrition and programme planning; principles of public health; research methods; research project in public health; 1 optional module from: food security; international perspectives on practice; power and empowerment.
