The aim of the course is to: offer a critical analysis of the complex matrix of law, organizations, practices and ideas that together, make up the world economy; develop a critical awareness of, and an ability to employ, competing analytical frameworks within the discourse surrounding the world economy; explore issues from a variety of disciplines including law, economics, politics, and history and so appreciate their relevance for the understanding of the world economy; promote debates about the role of international law in developing the framework for the world economy; identify and deal with the consequences of the global economy in national contexts and develop interdisciplinary strategies for given situations.
Law of the World Trade Organization; globalisation; dissertation; plus options including: transnational corporations; economic integration in developing countries; international environmental law; law and development; international human rights.

I like the campus and i find the students friendly (as a foreign student). The facilities are adequate e.g the computers are always availiable for access,and the library is open 24 hours which is good for those of us that are bookworms...more
