We have six centuries of law teaching experience, and are amongst the top 10 Law Schools in the UK (Times Good University Guide 2012)
The courses are delivered through a combination of lectures; seminars; and project work; students are required to study 2 core courses and 2 or 3 courses from a list of options and to submit a dissertation approved as falling within the area.
International law and international security; and international security and international relations; optional courses (Law optional courses): the settlement of international disputes; international criminal law; United Nations law; European security institutions and law; international law of human security; and international and European human rights law; optional modules (from the MSc in Global Security); the EU in international politics and development; diplomacy and discourse in international relations; ethics and international relations; and insurgency and counter insurgency.
