This programme is the first of its type in Scotland; it aims to support students' career preparedness for a role where a key responsibility is in managing an organisation's human resources in an international setting and/or cultural diverse setting; the programme enables development of critical analysis of current thinking and leading practices in human resource management (HRM) in work environments that often extend beyond national boundaries and involve different cultural groups; it is specifically designed for graduates who aim to work in a role where their main, but not whole responsibility, lies in managing human resources.
The sequencing of modules across the trimesters will vary depending on the time of year the student chooses to join us. Personal and professional development; HRM in organisational contexts; resourcing and talent management; diversity and cross cultural management; managing and developing human resources; change and leadership; performance management; international and comparative HR strategies; HRM inquiry project.
