Core modules: the international hospitality and tourism industry; strategic marketing management; hospitality and tourism research (agendas and methods); semester 2: specialisation and electives choice (indicative list); food, beverage and society; tourist behaviour; the service encounter; marketing and consuming global culture; tourism planning and development; international services marketing; sports marketing in a global context; hospitality and tourism entrepreneurship; students have the option to graduate with a specialisation in marketing by taking certain electives; successful completion of the taught element of the course leads to the award of the Postgraduate Diploma; students achieving a sufficiently high pass level in all classes may proceed to undertake a dissertation for the Masters qualification.
